Welcome to the 2010 Orange Classic International Girls Soccer Tournament

The Orange Classic Soccer Committee is proud to announce the 9th Annual Orange Classic Girls International Tournament . The tournament will be held in South Florida (Plantation, Weston, & Ft. Lauderdale Areas) on December 27, 28, 29 and 30, 2010. This is an invitation to your University/College to attend our tournament. This years tournament is expected to be one of the most recruited tournaments in the United States. In 2009, over 250 college coaches attended our tournament. We have assembled a field of teams which exhibit the highest caliber of competition in the youth game today.
We will feature over 3,500 players in the U16 through U19 divisions that are interested in pursuing their educations and college careers in an academic institution such as yours. We ask that you fill out an on-line application prior to the start of the tournament in order to accommodate everyone with the proper information on the high school players. All college coaches in attendance will receive a professionally bound Player Profile Book detailing each of the participating teams in the U16, U17, and U19 divisions. In addition, each coach will receive a complementary gift from the tournament committee, as well as complimentary lunch and drink coupons for the tournament days.
We made significant changes in 2009 that will remain in place for the coming year. We will continue to play the entire U16 to U19 age groups to the Weston fields (8 fields at Weston Regional and 4 fields at Vista Park). We have also adjusted the scheduling to a showcase format that will have the teams playing 4 games (one game a day) over the course of the tournament. This will make it easier for you to know where and when the girls are playing.
We have also assigned a hotel for college coaches this year at a discounted rate close to the fields in Weston. THe hotel is Holiday Inn Express Sheridan and I75. The hotel contact is Alan Koplo at akoplo@comcast.net. Please contact him via email and he will help you immediately with reservations. The hotel cost is 99.00 per night. Rooms are limited and on a first come first serve basis. We will be doing a hospitality tent at the Weston Regional Park that is just for college coaches. We will cater in breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day for you.
We hope that you will make plans to join us for this years Orange Classic Tournament. Player Profiles and Schedule will only be available on an RSVP basis. The RSVP will certainly help us accomodate the food needs for all the coaches attending. All Player Profile Books and all other information can be picked up at Tournament Team Registration on December 26, 2010, 3:00pm-10:00pm or at the main field at Weston Regional Park during the tournament.
